Edi-Black Range Catchment Group

The Edi-Black Range Catchment covers the Edi, Black Range and Meadow Creeks catchments.

About the Edi-Black Range Catchment Group

The group's mission is to promote a practical balance between productivity and environmental concerns to ensure that the unique natural assets of our area are preserved and enhanced for future generations.

The Edi-Black Range Catchment Group was established in 1994 in response to the catastrophic erosion caused in 1993 by "1 in 200 year" rainfall events and widespread flooding. Erosion continues to be a significant concern in the area, but the group supports general sustainable land management, pest plant and animal control, and community education events.

This group is supported by Landcare Facilitator Penny Raleigh 0427613970 or landcare.penny@gmail.com
