Indigo CREEK Landcare Group

Indigo Creek Landcare Group Inc. is a not for profit, made up of volunteers within the community of Indigo Valley, Barnawartha and Barnawartha North, who have a passion for the environment.

About Indigo Creek Landcare

The group's vision is to share and develop knowledge with local land holders and the community by providing opportunities for learning and active participation. They aim to nurture a passion for improving the natural environment and enhance farmland environments for the future. The group is working on projects that range from revegetation of roadside reserves, exploring and promoting regenerative farming practices, farm tours, presentations by guest speakers, assisting with grant submissions. At present, Indigo Creek Landcare are actively engaging with the local schools to nurture the students’ joy and understanding for their natural world.

The group would love to hear about your interests and ideas for future events or projects, and how they can assist you. New and existing members are most welcome and you are invited to join the group and attend monthly meetings held at 7pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Indigo Valley CFA Shed, Indigo Valley Rd or via Zoom as arranged.

Please contact the group via indigocreeklandcare@gmail.com.
Further information about the group and activities can be obtained via Indigo Creek Community Group (Facebook), Indigo Valley Community Newsletter and the Indigo Valley CFA Shed notice board.
